About Me

Looking for experience in the field of international relations and human rights

I was born and raised in an agricultural and rural town north of Seattle, surrounded by the massive, beautiful Cascade Mountains. Growing up, I loved reading and writing; I feel at peace and works well as stress reliever for me.

After high school, I decided to obtain my Associate of Arts, and later transfer to the University of Washington (UW). At UW, I declared a major in English Literature, with a minor in Environmental Public Health. I am passionate about social and environmental issues, including how policies are developed, how societies respond to climate change, and how nations respond to global health crises and human rights issues.

I'm currently a senior at the University of Washington. My studies have given me a humanistic perspective for understanding the broader world beyond my own experiences. Through coursework in the humanities, I have gained a better understanding of others and can analyze the human experience. This field has developed my skills in critical thinking and creativity, and it values society over capital.

I invite you to explore my website and engage with the projects that reflect my passions.
